Though the National Mall has been in numerous films and television shows, it is even more impressive in person.

On the East Coast, Rehoboth Beach is a popular weekend getaway destination from Philadelphia.

With 30 miles of coastline, sports enthusiasts can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, and surfing, while others can relax and enjoy the landscape by strolling along the beautiful walking trails. Throughout the year, visitors can attend a variety of events, get married, dine at excellent restaurants, and explore the attractions.

The finest scenic place in town and one of the top Rehoboth Beach attractions, with intriguing local stores, family amusements, and restaurants, is Rehoboth Beach and Boardwalk. Don't forget to take a stroll down the one-mile-long boardwalk to appreciate the area's picturesque charm.

Gordons Pond is a beautiful Delaware hiking and bike trail that you don’t want to miss out on. The trail, which was recently enlarged, continues past the pond and into the lush woodland. Admire the wetlands and dunes, which provide breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Delaware Seashore State Park is a 2825-acre water-surrounded park, between Rehoboth and Indian River Bay on the west and the Atlantic Ocean on the east, and was mostly inaccessible until the construction of two enormous steel and stone jetties.

The state of Delaware's largest waterpark is Jungle Jim's. A wave pool, water slides, an activity pool, a kiddie pool, and a lazy river are among the attractions. It also boasts a bumper boat pool, which is a water-based variation of bumper cars with the added benefit of each boat having a water pistol. This is a terrific site to visit if you're looking for things to do in Rehoboth Beach with kids.

Hershey's Chocolate World, located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, next to HersheyPark, down the hill from the Hotel Hershey and Hershey Gardens, and just down the road from the Hershey Chocolate plant, is a terrific destination for both kids and adults.

Because actual factory visits were becoming overcrowded due to their popularity, Hershey's Chocolate World was founded in 1973.

The Create Your Own Candy Bar Attraction at Hershey's Chocolate World is the trendiest new thing to do.

A 25-minute chocolate tasting will walk you through the process of making chocolate and how to taste it to determine which tastes are there. If you've ever done a wine or beer tasting, you'll recognize this.
