Hello, I'm a remote worker based in Berkeley, CA. (San Francisco area.)
I'm very interested in occasionally doing some travel/"remote work on the road". Open to other suggestions as well, but for now an opportunity has come up : my employer is doing a company-wide gathering in San Luis, MO, and will pay for my travel expenses.
Why not turn it into a see-the-country while chilling out (and doing some work remotely) on the Amtrak sleeper car? Then spend about 1/2 a week in San Luis, MO : some work, some sightseeing. Possibly stay longer. I've checked out YouTube videos on San Luis, MO - and it seems like a lively town with lots to do!
Finally, travel back together to the San Francisco area (or separate.)
Looking for warm, personable people... also a reliable travel companion to "have each other's back" should anything happen.I'm originally from Italy, but naturalized in the US and longtime resident of the San Francisco area, where I also went to school. I work 100% remotely in the biomedical field.
