Planning a Route 66 road trip this August, likely Chicago → LA over around 10–14 days.

Looking for 1–3 people interested in splitting car/fuel/accommodation costs and doing the trip properly rather than rushing through it.

Thinking roadside diners, quirky stops, national parks, small towns, good music, photography, random Americana etc. I’m pretty easygoing and flexible, but ideally looking for people who are:
* reliable,
* reasonably organized,
* good communicators,
* and not trying to turn it into a constant party trip.

Probably renting an SUV and mixing motels/hotels along the way. Happy to plan together beforehand and do a quick video call first so everyone knows who they’re travelling with.
