Hi. I’m heading to the Miami/Fort Lauderdale and then Orlando areas of Florida to do exploration and sightseeing of some of the many great attractions in both those areas. My travel itinerary is to leave Seattle Friday 10/17 for Fort Lauderdale staying at the Sun Tower hotel through Tuesday morning 10/21. Then head north to Orlando Tuesday 10/21 through Friday 10/24 staying at the Four Points hotel which is very near to Universal Studios. 1 day will be dedicated to all the fun at Universal Studios and then 1 day at one of the Disney World parks (probably Epcot). And if there’s time maybe checking out the Kennedy Space Center. Then head back south to Fort Lauderdale Friday 10/24 staying again at the Sun Tower hotel and checking out Monday 10/27 and flying home that evening. Time in South Florida will include sightseeing and attractions from Miami Beach all the way up the beautiful intracostal (lots of magnificent homes & yachts!) to Palm Beach as well as possibly a trip to the Gulf side beach towns of Naples & Fort Myers Beach. It should be a lot of fun but I’m also looking for a travel buddy to share the experience (and help with the driving). For a travel buddy I’m looking for someone who lives in the Seattle area, is in their 40-60’s, male, enthusiastic about traveling and preferably someone who this would be a new or newer travel experience for. Also being conversational and easy to get along with would of course be great. Finally you would need to be very mobile because there will most likely be a fair amount of walking necessary for some of the attractions and sightseeing. On the financial side all you would need to pay for is your round trip airfare from Seattle to Fort Lauderdale or Miami. All the other expenses I will be covering because for the biggest portion of those expenses I would have to pay the same amount whether I’m by myself or with others.
