So last summer, my friend and I were going to road trip across Europe (Germany to Estonia), but obviously that plan got tanked with COVID 🥲 so now I’m working at a fully remote place, and I’m hoping to take advantage of the situation by planning a one to two month road trip across America starting in August! A lot of my friends work in fields like healthcare and don’t have the flexibility to travel around and work, so I’m hoping to find someone in a similar situation who’d be up to do this with me! I’m super lucky to have traveled to a ton of countries, but I’ve still got a ton of my own country left to explore, and I wanted to take advantage of the working sitch to do that. I’m waiting until August/Sept so I can plan it and so that I’m fully vaccinated and so that COVID cases continue going down and there’s no issues traveling between states. I want to start in the northeast and my goal is to head west via the northern states, then tackle southern states and make my way up to MA again from FL! What I’m hoping to do: 💻 continue working remotely during the day, so that 9-5 grind 🚗 drive in the evenings and explore areas during the mornings, evenings, and weekends ⛰ I love nature, so I’d love to hit up a ton of national parks, beaches, and natural sites 🌆 I’m also keen on cities though, so planning on incorporating those! 🥳 Just have fun, see new places, take lots of pictures, make memories, and make a great friend and travel buddy out of the experience Who I am: 👩🏽 I’m turning 26 in April, I work in digital marketing, and I love being spontaneous but also having a plan so we’re not totally off the grid 🤪 ☯️ I love car rides where we’re blasting music and belting out the lyrics, but I’m also super down for calm drives where we’re listening to an audiobook or podcast or discussing legit anything 🍔 I won’t be super picky with food, but there’s probably going to be a few food stops I’d want to try if they’re super well known/recommended 📸❌ I love photos, don’t get me wrong, I just am not the greatest at taking them. So if you’re into photography and have a camera and tripod setup, that would be awesome and I cannot wait to learn tips and tricks! 🥾 I’m definitely down for a couple miles of hiking, but I would be lying if I said I’m a pro who’s going to do five miles, so don’t want to set false expectations there haha 🇮🇳 I’m Indian, and I def enjoy a good bollywood jam out sesh or movie every now and then, so if you’re into that too, that’s definitely a plus!
