NOTE: Trip Starts and Ends in San Francisco

I’m planning a short road trip in California and will be doing it solo. I thought it might be more fun and a little safer to share the journey with someone.

This is not about splitting costs. I already have the car booked. I’m mainly looking for good company, shared experiences, and maybe someone to help take photos along the way.

Itinerary

Day 1 - May 22 (Friday)

• Pick up rental car in San Francisco
• First stop: Stanford University
• Drive along the west coast via Big Sur
• Overnight near Cambria

Day 2 - May 23 (Saturday)

• Drive inland
• Visit Red Rock Canyon State Park (Mojave desert area)
• Desert landscapes and photography
• Overnight near Red Rock Canyon

Day 3 - May 24 (Sunday)

• Drive toward Fresno
• Explore small towns and stops along the way
• Flexible day

Day 4 - May 25 (Monday)

• Drive back to San Francisco
• Return rental car in the morning
