I have a backpacking permit for Nov 14 to Nov 19 from South Bass to Hermits Rest.  This is about 46 miles (78 km). This section of the Grand Canyon can be one of the most difficult sections depending on how wet it has been. I will only go with experienced wilderness backpackers who can hike at least 15 miles (24km) in a day without much problem (if necessary).
