Moving from Fort Lauderdale, FL to Eureka, CA. Driving my Prius for 5 to 6 days. Plan to drive 8 to 10 hours a day, eat packaged food, sleep at rest stops and see sites close to the highways. Will have a folding camper mattress and cargo hitch carrier. 3,380 miles at 60 mph and ~40 mpg. Split $400 to $450 in fuel costs.
