My stepdaughter needs a ride from Tennessee to California. I have a RV but i don't want to do all the driving myself. I need to be back to Tennessee before 4th of July. The hope is to split gas money because the RV only gets 7 miles to the gallon and if gas is above 2.50 it is significant mileage of over 2,000 miles. I understand that until June 22 you can buy a monthly pass on Amtrak for $299 that allows for 10 layovers, you don't have to travel in June, because the 30 days doesn't start till first use.
