Hey! Janic here, 27, from Germany. I'm driving a 5-day loop out of San Francisco and would love some company for part or all of it.

The idea: up Highway 1 to Mendocino, into the giant redwoods around Humboldt and Redwood National Park, up to Crescent City, then inland past Mount Shasta and back down to San Francisco. Big trees, empty coastal roads, and a lot of scenic driving.

I have the rental car, we just split gas and accommodation. Budget-friendly but not bare-bones: simple motels or a good hostel, nothing fancy needed. Early starts, lots of short hikes and photo stops. Relaxed about the details — join the whole loop or just one leg.

Quick heads-up: I don't drink, but I couldn't care less if you do.
