I’m giving it a try here — maybe there’s someone among you who has a similar travel spirit and is up for a little adventure. 😊

I’d love to travel to Asia for around 2–3 weeks over New Year 2026/2027. My idea is to spend a few days in Singapore, celebrate New Year’s Eve there 🎆, and then head to Sri Lanka.

In Sri Lanka, I don’t want to just lie on the beach (although I’m definitely not against some relaxing time 😄). I’d much rather explore, travel around and try new things. I’d love to do things like:

🤿 scuba diving / snorkeling
🪂 ziplining and some more adventurous activities
🐘 safari and wildlife spotting
🐘 visiting places where elephants can be seen and, if possible, fed in an ethical way
🌴 beaches, nature, waterfalls and day trips
🍜 trying local food and exploring different places
🍹 and of course having a few drinks, going out in the evenings and having completely lazy days when we don’t feel like doing anything 😄

I don’t want to have every single day planned down to the minute. I’d rather travel spontaneously, decide what we feel like doing, explore a lot and just enjoy the experience.

I’m 27, and I’m happy to tell you more about myself if we seem to click. 😊 Ideally, I’d love to find 1–2 travel buddies who have a similar mindset. Age doesn’t really matter — having a similar idea of what a great trip looks like is much more important.
