This trip is all set! I just need a travel companion for this 6- to 10-day vacation, from ~July 22-31. 

1. A two-day drive from Olympia/Seattle, WA, to Bozeman, MT;

2. followed by a 2-day (or 4-day) family reunion; by Bozeman, MT, and Big Sky Ski Resort (mtns, fishing, white-water rafting, hiking, shopping, museum, etc.)

3. followed by 1-4 days in Yellowstone Park;

4. then a two-day drive back to Seattle/Olympia, WA.

The purpose of the trip is for me to attend a family reunion near Bozeman and near Big Sky Ski Resort. There are a lot of fun things you can do while I attend the reunion, due to its popular, ideal location.  White-water rafting or kayaking, fishing, hiking to mountain lakes, horseback riding, museum, shopping, walking in the woods among the wildflowers, etc.

The trip length is somewhat flexible, depending on how much time you can be gone. My preference is to have at least one day in Yellowstone Park (or 2 or 3) before heading back to Seattle/Olympia. I can provide the vehicle and do most of the driving. I would like to split the cost of gas, and let you pay for your motel rooms and food. I have room reservations at the lowest prices I could find that seemed decent. I prefer traveling with a woman but would consider a man (totally platonic).

I plan to drive the southern route -- to Yakima, the Tri-Cities, to Ontario (Oregon), to Boise, through southern Idaho and up to West Yellowstone, then up to Bozeman (vs. I-90). It's quite beautiful, with expansive views.

The day before the trip you could EITHER:

-fly into Portland, OR, (on July 21) and I would drive you to Olympia, WA, where I would put you up for the night in a motel room (my treat), then we would leave the next day, 

OR

-fly into Seattle, WA, (on July 21) spend the night in a motel in ~Issaquah, and I would meet you in probably Issaquah at a McDonalds,  then we would leave to go on the trip.
