Hi!

My name is Chad and I am a college student from Chicago, IL USA. Before college I took a Gap Year and backpacked to multiple countries. That year changed my life in many ways and gave me the desire to want to travel more. So when I graduate again in May of 2023, I am planning on backpacking and making my way from the beginning of the silk road in China all the way to Istanbul, Turkey. While I am not going with a concrete plan, I was hoping to work at multiple points along the trip and potentially receive a temporary stay at a Buddhist monastery in the Southwest of China or join nomadic life for a bit in Mongolia, or both! Basically this is an open invitation to travel with me part of the way it the whole thing. I plan on hitting countries like Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and others along the ancient highway. I feel that this trip could be anywhere from 3 to 6 months long for me. If you're interested, have plans to explore Central Asia, or already have, please send me a message!
