Hello. I’ve got 1 seat available for a big road trip from Townsville to Tasmania. I’ll be driving a 4wd van fully equipped through Birdsville due to COVID border restriction. I heard the Birdsville track is amazing along so it might be worth going that way than driving along the coast. -My main plan is to get to Tasmania by April as I already booked for a ferry so we would have plenty time to stop along and do some sightseeing, hiking, visiting cities. I haven’t any set plan yet as I’m opened to any suggestion but the main direction will be: Townsville ->Charter Towers -> Hughenden -> Mount isa -> Birdsville -> Port Augusta -> Mount Gambier -> Melbourne ferry I’m looking for someone up for a great trip, willing to share the cost (fuel and food mainly), share great story and music and willing to explore. My goal is to get to Tasmania then travel around for a few weeks and maybe do a bit of farm work then doing another big road trip to Darwin through the center during winter time (best time of the year) so you can even join me after Tasmania. I can pick up/drop off on the way and happy to convoy with a few other people. Pm me if interested ☺️
