I'm planning  a quick year end trip to Tanjong Pinang, Indonesia which is less than 2 hours ferry ride away from Singapore. Stay in a beautiful beach resort during the day, relax at the beach with white sands and blue-green waters during the evening. At night, a quick car trip to the famous sand dunes to see the Milky Way in its full glory in a moon less dark sky.

If interested and time permits, we can also visit a few Buddhist temples/historical monuments.
