Hi! I’m a 21M from Belgium looking for a travel buddy (18–25) for a trip to Japan, probably in 2027.

I’m not looking for a party holiday. I’m much more interested in experiencing traditional Japan and its history than spending every night in clubs or focusing only on the big modern cities.

A bit about me:

* Huge fan of Japanese history and samurai.
* Want to visit shrines, temples, castles, old towns, and places like Aizu.
* Anime is cool, but I’m not interested in the NSFW side of it.
* I’m happy to grab a drink at an izakaya or a bar, but clubbing isn’t really my thing.
* I enjoy good food, photography, hiking, and taking my time to experience the culture.

I don’t have a fixed budget yet. I want to travel comfortably, but I’m not looking to spend €4,000–€5,000 unless there’s a really good reason. I’d rather find a good balance between seeing as much as possible and keeping costs reasonable.

I don’t mind where you’re from or what your background is—as long as you speak English and we get along.

Before planning anything, I’d like to video call or meet up (if possible) a few times so we can get to know each other, make sure we’re compatible as travel buddies, and plan the trip together.
