I am travelling to Manila and will likely stay in Makati (modern part of Manila). I have business in Makati and also business will take me to Intramuros (old restored Spanish town). Whilst there I will travel o Subic Bay possibly; or to Mindoro Occidental by Ferry from Batangas (bottom of Luzon) alternatively travel to Cebu and possibly Cagayan De Oro (top of Mindanao).  Stories about Mindanao are outrageously Stupid. Yes there are places maybe you should not go but CDO and Davao are perfectly safe.

Manila has many sights to see; and Intramuros is part of that. Bus to Batangas from Manila is cheap and airconditioned.

The first half I will spend in Manila area. Then as I said likely Cebu and likely Mindoro.
