I’m planning to rent a car when I arrive in Amman 1st March and drive to Wadi Musa (Petra) the same day.  I bought the Jordan Pass version that includes 3 days entry to Petra which I’ll do from 2-4 March.  5 March I’ll probably drive to Wadi Rum where I plan to spend a few days hiking, maybe a jeep tour and a night camping out in the desert.   I have some flexibility with these dates.  

Not yet sure where I’m going next.  Possibly Aqaba if my research indicates there’s decent diving/snorkeling sites easily accessed from Aqaba. 

I’m open to other suggestions.  I need to be back in Amman to catch a flight sometime between 15-18 March.  Haven’t yet booked that flight (to Croatia).  

FYI, I’ll be in SE Asia (mostly Laos) from 19 January until I depart for Jordan 1st March on the off chance anyone else has a similar East-to-West Asia plan.  Anything’s possible.  🤞
