After years of putting family first and caregiving for my parents, I finally have my first passport in hand and I’m claiming my seat at the table of world travelers for my 40th birthday. I’m timing this trip to Iceland specifically for the window around March 12th—just before my actual birthday on the 31st—to beat the full moon and hit that perfect pocket of darkness for the Northern Lights.
I’m a low-key gay guy who really values the independence of the traveler lifestyle, but I’m looking to bridge that with a solid travel buddy to share the "wow" moments and split the costs. I’m just a regular, easy-going guy who gets along with everyone, and I'm just as comfortable hanging with the ladies as I am with the guys.
I’m a "go with the moment" person—I’m not trying to scale any mountains, but I am ready to push past my comfy zone, get out of my head about being a picky eater, and really soak in the wild beauty of the North.
I’m looking for someone to share the journey and split expenses like lodging and tours, but since I’m definitely not looking to be behind the wheel on icy Icelandic roads, I’d love to find a buddy who is either:
A confident winter driver who wants to split a car or camper van.
Someone happy to skip the car entirely and go halves on professional guided tours.
If you’re looking for a chill, non-romantic adventure where we can both enjoy our own space while exploring something epic together, let’s chat and see if our vibes mesh!
