I’m looking for one easygoing, outdoorsy travel buddy to split core logistics - specifically sharing a 4x4 SUV rental, fuel, tolls, campsite fees, and basic grocery runs 50/50. This is an overland expedition built around multi-country road travel and outdoor living: spending 3 to 4 days exploring the Faroe Islands by car, followed by a 10-day Ring Road circuit in Iceland, picking up an automatic 4x4 in the East and dropping it off in the West. We'll be stay-camping in high-wind ground tents at official campsites or hostels, so you should be practical, adaptable, and comfortable with cool-weather tent setups and cooking outdoors. Having a valid driver's license to split driving shifts on long stretches is a great bonus to take turns resting, but I’m perfectly fine handling the wheel if you don't drive (ain't a pro lol), I'm mainly looking for a resourceful partner who prefers steady pacing, scenic hikes, and flexible daily schedules over high-end luxury spending.
