In this no-fly trip we won't waste time for transportation but use comfy and safe night connections instead. Starting in Genova we will experience the old harbor city with an option for a daytrip to Portofino and Cinqueterre. Friday night we will hop on a ferry with sleeper cabin and arrive in Palermo for a summer extension. In Palermo we will connect with other travelers, enjoy the sun with many daytrip options. A Night-train which is loaded on a ferry will take us to Rome overnight where our trip will end for your individual planning. I will stay in Rome, too but will work from there, so I am still there for any recommendations!
