Just starting to manifest this trip. Mode of transporation around the island of Japan could include plane, train, tus and I am even considering renting an RV and/or rental car (I love to drive and get off the beaten path) to truly exolore the culture. I love to drive and am very spontaneous. I favor quiet over noise and crowds and mix is just fine. Looking for a travel partner who lives in the moment (with or without activity), is kind and thoughtful and is even tempered so that when things don't go as planned (as is always the case) it is no big deal as this is part of the experience.
