I've traveled solo already to South Korea and China, but Japan is the one destination I've always wanted to go. And this time I'm deciding to try and snag a travel buddy. I have no specific must-see spots in mind yet other than some good restaurants and possibly the Studio Ghibli museum. I'm into a huge fan of Japanese food, Japanese horror movies, anime, and video games. I want to travel sometime in summer but my dates are pretty flexible, and I've been working on my Japanese for the past bit (not super fluent, but if you need to know where the restroom is or how much a cup of coffee is--then I'm your guy).
