I will be traveling on a 16-day road trip across the Alpine regions of Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland from 22 May to 7 June.
The purpose of the trip is tourism, sightseeing, and experiencing scenic mountain routes.
My route begins in Munich, where I rent a car and drive to Austria to visit Hallstatt and experience the Grossglockner High Alpine Road.
From there, I continue into Italy’s Dolomites, driving several major mountain passes around Cortina d’Ampezzo such as Passo Giau, Sella, and Pordoi.
The next section of the trip covers Switzerland for 7 days, visiting key destinations including St. Moritz, Andermatt, Lucerne, Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Zermatt, along with famous Swiss alpine passes like Furka, Grimsel, Susten, and Gotthard (Tremola Road).
The trip concludes through the Bavarian Alps in Germany, visiting Berchtesgaden and Königssee, before returning the car in Munich and flying home.
