In the period indicated, very likely the first 3 weeks of december or the last 3 of february, it will depend on the chosen itinerary.
If I find a travel buddy, we could delineate an itinerary together!
The places I thought about were:
- Buenos Aires (must)
- Bariloche area, road tripping (must)
- Patagonia, Parque Nacional Los Glaciares (maybe must closer to must)
- Cordoba (maybe must)
- Iguazu, both sides (maybe must)
- Salta and Jujuy provinces: above all Purmamarca, Cuesta de Lipan, and going up to Quebrada de Humahuaca, Hornocal to Puente del Diablo (maybe must)
- Considering a wider road trip through Ruta 40, including other places I didn't mention above like Lago Puelo, Cajon del Azul, Farallon de Cabreria and San Martin de Los Andes with Parque Nacional Lanin & Lago Lácar (maybe)
- Tierra del Fuego: Beagle channel and Usuhaia (maybe)
- Catamarca: Antofagasta de la Sierra + Carachi Pampa + Campo de piedra pomez; Laguna verde, Antofalla (maybe)
- Penisola Valdes (maybe)
- Talampaya and Ischigualasto (maybe)
- Esteros del Iberá (maybe/not)
I am a very active person when travelling and I wanna make the most out of my trips, seeing everything that I can; that means waking up quite early to have all of the day available to visit, I like to plan so that I don't miss out on opportunities but of course it's a holiday, so free time just wandering around or pretending to live like a local might also be essential sometimes! I'm a bit of a control freak, so it would be better to find a person that travels like me, has the same views on trips and lives them with an alike spirit. Traveling, in my view, has to be an adventurous, enriching experience but not excessively rushed, you need to be able to feel relaxed and delighted by the experience.
I like to visit cities (above all historical parts), experience local specialties (in terms of food or attractions) and also wonders of nature but NO high mountains or deep hiking, hard and strenuous paths. Not my cup of tea. I favour hot weather way over than cold: I HATE cold and can't stand life outside when it's under 10 degrees (C°) circa. But if it's over 20 anyway, it's the best (I hate to be super dressed up with sweaters and coats, I don't feel free to move); if I had to choose, I'd rather suffer from heat than from freezing temperatures.
I love camping and driving: road trips with a tent are one of my special things.
I don't want to share my path with ignorant, fascist and lazy people; I am an activist, a rock/metal buddy 🤘🏼🎸 and a sensitive person. Finding a person from Italy would be the best so that we can more easily meet in person, to see if we are actually compatible as people and to properly plan the trip.
