They are available as three books on Amazon. 1) 10 Minutes, 10 Days 10 Years: Finding the Grace of God (2016) 2) Swan Song: A Love Story with a Native American Twist (2017) 3) The Cosmic Guru (2017) Costa Rica Resident & Property Owner: I purchased nearly 100 acres of endangered rainforest land with a 40 foot waterfall and a 3 bedroom home in April 2005, learned Spanish, retained residency and starting planting 100’s of fruit and wood trees in preparation for a future community. I founded the Vermont based non-profit Cristo Morpho and from 2011- 2018 offered a spiritual and sustainable volunteer and visitor retreat program located on our property in the mountain village town of Buena Vista. I purchased a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog named Thunder and bred her with Togo for a litter of 7 puppies. I currently care for two of her puppies, Nala & Zimba in the USA. In 2019, I volunteered at the Shankara Ayurvedic Spa at Art of Living Retreat Center in Boone, NC. In March of 2020 I completed the Massage Therapy program at nearby CCC&TI and passed the MBLEx exam in June 2020. The program focused on Swedish, Orthopedic and Deep Tissue Massage. Prior to that, I had taken a 10-day Thai Yoga Massage program taught by Jonas Westring at Yoga Vermont. I gave and received dozens of massages in VT and Costa Rica and I began to provide my services as a massage therapist to the public for 6 months through a grant funded program at the community called Another Way in Montpelier VT. After 25 years of operating my own Rental duplex it became Perfect Touch LLC. An Airbnb that offered yoga and massage in Danville VT. I sold this successful property in October 2021. I currently work (and played on skis and snowboard) during the winter as a massage therapist at Tiaga Spa at Jay Peak Ski Resort. Massage is my passion! I have been learning and receiving MFR treatments as taught by founder, John Barnes. Yoga Student/Teacher and Retreats: In 1996 I started my yoga career practicing a Korean style of healing and meditation called Sun Do for four years under the guidance of a Korean Master named Hoon Moon Kim. I have since participated in hundreds of yoga classes taught by certified teachers of various styles. A few renowned yoga teachers includes Ashtanga Yogi Master Baba Hari Dass, Iyengar Yoga teachers, Kofi Busia, Glen Black and Rodney Yee, as well as Anusara Yogini, Amy Ippoliti. I participated in a 30-day transitional program at the Himalayan Institute of Yoga Science, Penn and enrolled in the (LYT) Living Yoga Training program at Yogaville. This combined daily meditation and yoga practices with daily service. This set a good foundation for my daily yoga practice. I received my yoga training certification for Integral Yoga in 2005 and my yoga teaching career began. I have returned to Yogaville for 1-3 months stays another several times. I completed the Integrative Yoga Therapy program in 2009 which consisted of 1-2 week group segments with some online assignments. My teaching style is rather eclectic but I tend to utilize restorative yoga, Integral Yoga, Somatics, a joint freeing-series and Acu-Yoga. I have taught in Vermont, Montana, North Caroline, and Costa Rica. Christianity: I consider myself a follower of Christ. I attended online church at Elevation. I have been part of a few in-home connect groups. I attended Liberty University for 1 year to deepen my understanding in theology and biblical studies. In support of my cousin, I attended Christian Second Chance Support Group for released prison inmates. I am a certified counselor of caring for the heart counseling created by John Regeir, which focuses on healing trauma related issues. I received a lot of support from being in a youth group as a teenager and became a youth group counselor for a season. Native American: I am a descendant of Abenaki heritage on my mother’s side. I have learned some of our traditional ways, but was initially taught the Lakota traditions by friends at Omega institute; the talking circle, the peace pipe, vision quest and the sweat lodge ceremony. I have led and shared all of these traditions when guided. Sufi: For a few summers I was a seasonal volunteer at the Abode of the Message, New Lebanon, NY (www.theabode.net) for their mountain retreats. I often assisted in the kitchen or cabin and ground maintenance. I participated in guided retreats for 3-5 days led by Aziza Scott, Devi Tide and Michael Young. During the summer of 2005 I was a participant in the Khidmat spiritual program in which we study the teachings of Hazrat Inayat Khan. In the fall of 2005 I attended a 90-day intensive Sufi practices with 17 other students under the direction of Sufi master, Shahabuddin Less at Rising Tide, Sarasota, FL Volunteer Experience: I spent several summers as a volunteer at the following spiritual retreat communities: Yogaville, Abode of the Message and Omega Institute. In 2004 for eight months I was a volunteer for the Hudson Valley Raptor Center in Stanfordville, NY. I fed and cared for over 100 different raptures including eagles, owls, and various hawks. In 2007, I volunteered at the Nature Zone. This was an educational exotic animal park sponsored by Parks and Recreation. I fed the animals and assisted a boy scout troop in building bluebird houses. In 2020 I volunteered for 6 months at The Outreach in Morganton NC. In this position I helped unpack and sort donated supplies. These items were given away to those in need. Nature Related: 1998 Summer Canoe Guide for Alaska Travel Adventures in Ketchikan, Alaska. I guided passengers in a 23-foot canoe situated on a mountain lake. I presented nature walks explaining the local flora and fauna. After my traveling to Alaska and Australia I did slideshows presentations in Burlington and St Johnsbury, VT entitled: Alaska: Nature, Natives, and Nonsense. I am certified for Basic Keelboat Sailing, Basic Coastal Cruising, and Bareboat Chartering at the School of International Sailing located on Mallets Bay in Vermont. My traveling includes Alaska, Panama, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, France, Costa Rica, Venezuela and fifteen islands in the Caribbean.
