former schoolteacher, wannabe wanderer, I speak English and Spanish fluently enough and can get around in a very incorrect Portuguese (Brazilian). I have anxiety and so need another human to travel with. I don't need a babysitter; it's not like that. I just need a human touchstone and fellow adventurer. I love new experiences, new cultures, new perspectives. I am kind and like to read. I am otherwise healthy and enjoy walking around on my trips. I just have trouble finding people with whom to travel. Most people want to stay at resorts. I don't. I want to travel economically when possible. Walk, take the train, stay in hostels or pensions. Etc. I love to read and learn. Politically liberal, in case it matters but I'm good with all types. Looking to travel almost anywhere except for the USA.
