I became widowed last year and now this winter I'm ready to get out of Melbourne - again. I am a retired engineer who is involved on volunteering and community sport and coaching. I've now back down off committees to pursue further travel in Australia and the world. I've been on a few outback tripe but now on my own, I'm looking for some company. Plan is to travel to the Flinders Rangers (SA) and on over to Camerons Corner and then up the Birdsville Track eventually ending up in Darwin with the return trip somewhat unplanned for now. Escaping the Melbourne winter and seeking further adventures is the goal
