I live in Atlanta. This is my first trip to the South Island and would like to explore its majestic beauty. I have visited 29 countries, and this is my foray in the nature. I will rent a car in Christchurch and drive to Queenstown and back and in-between take in a ferry ride on the fjord and the Tranzalpine Train. I would like to have a travel companion that can share the petrol and pay for their own lodging. If you own a car, I can pay for the petrol and your lodging.
