I’d say I’m generally a quiet person, but at the same time, I really enjoy traveling alone to new countries and meeting new people. That might not sound very "quiet,” but somehow it fits. I’m open, I find it easy to approach others, but I don’t need to be the center of attention. One of the best examples of this contradiction is when I spontaneously decided on a Wednesday to book a flight for the very next day – just me, my backpack, and a ticket to Lithuania. I had no connection to the culture or the language, but less than 24 hours after landing, I had already met people, gone out dancing, and ended up having one of the best weekends of my life. It wasn’t until the flight back that I realized what I had actually just done. My hobbies reflect that mix too. I love going on solo rides with my road bike, but I also enjoy hitting bars or clubs with friends. Sometimes I find it hard to define myself exactly. I guess I'm just a mix of many things and I'm okay with that.
