Eric's Bio
I originally worked as a photographer, but for the past seven years, I’ve been working as a yacht broker, selling sailing boats and catamarans in French Polynesia, where I’ve lived for 26 years.
I’m married and have two daughters, aged 17 and 19.
After spending more than 25 years sailing and enjoying life at sea, I fell in love with Southern Africa during a 4x4 trip to Namibia in 2023. Since then, I’ve been trying to spend three weeks in Botswana every year, on a photographic safari around the Okavango Delta, driving a rented 4x4 equipped with a rooftop tent.
Being around wildlife and observing animals in their natural environment is something that truly recharges my batteries.
The only problem is that neither my wife nor my daughters share this passion, and none of them wants to join me! Experiencing all these magical moments alone, without anyone to share them with, can sometimes feel a little frustrating.
Of course, I have my photos and videos to capture the memories, but there’s something special about sharing an adventure in the wild, surrounded by animals and immersed in nature in its purest form. Experiencing those moments together is just so much more rewarding!
There’s nothing quite like it to disconnect from everyday life, reconnect with nature, and get back to what really matters.
