Hello! My name is Elliott Reep and I'm a 28 year old emergency manager living and working in Carrollton Texas! I’m about to finish an eight year travel and photography project where I am going to all 50 State Capital buildings. I love the history and architecture around the different capitals, so I always take a tour if possible and see as much as I can. But the main task is that I search the city for a t-shirt that either has the City name on it or something iconic about the state that let’s me know where it is. I then get a picture of myself wearing that shirt in front of the capital building. When I have all fifty done I am going to print them all out in 4x6 each and mount them in a large wall frame for a cool photography display. And to make it more fun, whenever I go to a new capital, part of the project is to eat a local meal, try the local beer and tour the entertainment/cultural center of the city to get a real feel for that spot. It is a lot of fun and I love going with friends! I have done all the lower 48 except for Nevada and Arizona, and I will be visiting them on a trip with friends at the end of January 2023. And since I started this project on Valentines Day in 2015, I am going to visit my very last capital, Juneau, AK, on Valentines Day this year (2023), which will bring the project to a close exactly eight years from the day I started!
