My wife and I are retired and we have decided to travel to Vietnam in 2026 to coincide with the Festival of the Full Moon in Ho An and then traveling North as Ho Chi Minh city holds no interest for us. We're not into large tour groups as they are too restrictive with time, so we will book a tour company in Vietnam to supply a "dedicated" guide for us on a loose schedule, who will have coordinated hotels, in-country travel, tickets and fees, etc. But we would like to find a couple who will be travelling there at the same time to have a "grounding" amid the new and unfamiliar.
