Outgoing, active traveller here. Normally, I travel solo and was a huge fan of sites like Couchsurfing, hospitality club and Globalfreeloaders. Made lots of great people and friends (many who I am still in contact with) that way. I set foot on all seven continents by the time I was 24 but have only been to about 60-ish countries to date. I like mixing up my trips between semi-budget and semi-“luxury,” but as I’ve gotten older, I’m leaning towards being more comfortable while travelling now 😉. Some recent trips, before covid: Bogotá, Medellin, Cartagena, San Andres, London, Cardiff, Hull. Recent trips during covid: Los Angeles, Bay Area x2, Napa, Manaus, Amazon, São Paulo and Paraty. I enjoy road trips, scuba diving, visiting museums, hiking, walking, nature, animals, history, the ocean, the beach, trying local foods and drinks, etc. For work, I’m a freelance journalist, work full time at a university and bartend and do other work on the side. When not travelling or working, I workout, run and bike, hike, keep up with current events, harass my cats and do house stuff.
