Hello! My name is Barasa Daniel, a dedicated Ugandan long-distance runner, social advocate, and MSc student in Green and Digital Management at the University of Limassol. I have been living in Cyprus since 2017, where I earned my BSc in Food Sciences and Technology from the Cyprus University of Technology. I am passionate about fostering wellness, integration, and sustainability through various initiatives. I am the founder and director of the Running-Fluent Initiative, Evzin Athletics Club - Uganda, and the Elite Racers Foundation Uganda. These organizations focus on supporting local communities, promoting environmental sustainability, and encouraging intercultural dialogue. As an EU Climate Pact ambassador, I also engage in social action plans, project management, and intercultural leadership. My efforts in these areas have earned me numerous recognitions and accolades for social contributions. I am committed to building bridges of understanding among diverse groups and making a positive impact on both local and global communities.
