I'm about to land in China for christmas time, but I m not quite sure which cities/city I want to travel.

I would like to avoid major touristic cities like Shanghai or Beijing, to get deeper into the real China,and not the one for tourists. If you can help me out choose or, even better, guide me if I ll come to you, would be great! Thanks
