Yo! I’m heading to Madeira in April, and I’m looking for a travel companion or a crew to join the mission. I’m an 21 year old student on Erasmus in Luxembourg, and I’m coming for the pure nature, high intensity hiking, and clear skies.

The Big Highlight: We are hitting the island exactly when the legendary PR1 trail (Pico do Arieiro to Pico Ruivo) is fully reopening! It’s the first time in a long time that the complete 'Stairway to Heaven' is open to the public, and it’s a rare chance to see it before the summer crowds take over.

I'm down for whatever makes the most sense for the budget:

Rent a car together: We can split the cost and hit the sunrise spots on our own time.

Public Transport or Shuttles: If we don't want to drive, we can use the local hiker shuttles or the bus network to reach the remote trails.
