I arrive in Seoul on November 8 and will spend a few quiet days at a guesthouse in Jongno District before flying on to Jeju, where I plan to walk the entire Jeju Olle Trail before flying back to Seoul. After that, I’ll have about two unplanned weeks in South Korea.
In the past, I have walked the classic Camino route from SJPP to Santiago de Compostela, 785 km, three times, so I am very familiar with long-distance pilgrimage walks. :)
I will be bringing a tent, sleeping bag, and camping stove. But I also want to combine the walk with indoor accommodation. I prefer to take things as they come and do not want to plan too much.
You are welcome to get in touch if you are in South Korea during the same period and would like to join me for one stage, several stages, or the whole loop around Jeju. Or if you have other suggestions. I am open to most things.
If you join the trip, we obviously do not have to walk together all the time. More sporadically. I imagine we could meet up now and then along the way, as is common on an ordinary pilgrimage walk.
I am an experienced traveler, sociable, calm, and easy to get along with. I appreciate good conversations, drinks, and a relaxed, drama-free vibe.
Budget: around € 4,000.
