Recently the country of Romania has inexplicably popped up in my radar, and I've heard such great things about it. The concepts Romanians value align perfectly with what I value. Camaraderie, tradition, community, respect, detachment from materialism. All values that my Western culture seem to be on the opposite side of. There's more to life than what I'm living, and I have a feeling a trip to Romania will be the remedy that I'm looking for.
