I’m heading out on May long weekend escape from Regina to Prince Albert National Park and have booked an Airbnb in Prince Albert. The plan is to soak in that unreal northern Saskatchewan beauty — thick boreal forest, quiet winding highways, wildlife if we’re lucky, and that fresh, pine-heavy air you just don’t get in the city. I’ll definitely be spending time around Waskesiu Lake — clear water, sandy shoreline, and that peaceful, postcard-worthy marina vibe. The little Waskesiu townsite has that charming cabin-country feel too — relaxed, scenic, and perfect for slow walks, coffee stops, and sunset views by the water. I’m open to taking one person along from Regina to split gas and travel costs — good vibes matter more than anything. Alternatively, if you’re already planning to be in PA, we can just meet there. Regina or Prince Albert — meetup point is flexible. Long weekend, open road, lake views. Let’s make it a good one.
