Hey! I’m Luis (22, Germany), and I’m going on a 6-week overland trip from Stuttgart to Chongqing, China, crossing Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and into Western China – mostly by trains, hitchhiking, buses, and 4x4s.
The plan is to travel almost entirely without flying, with only one possible exception if needed for logistics. Otherwise: wild camping, remote border crossings, desert roads, and night trains!
I’ll explore Silk Road cities like Samarkand and Bukhara, cross the Pamir Highway, and arrive in the glowing chaos of Chongqing.
I’m traveling on a tight budget (<2000 €), love spontaneous detours, deep talks, and sleeping under the stars. If you’re into slow, adventurous, and real travel – let’s team up for part of the journey!
