I am planning a trip to Portugal after the summer holidays to avoid the crowds. I am a senior (65) and am looking for a female travel companion who would like to visit Lisbon, Porto and the Algarve region. I am not a fan of group tours and would like to company to see the sights, enjoy the food and the ambiance. I am planning to use Home Away VRBO for accomodation, this way each person has their own room. I also like to have a leisurely cup of coffee instead of rushing to breakfast before 10:00 am.

I think 9-10 should be enough to enjoy the flavour of these cities.
