Looking for fellow travelers to join me for an 11-day trip through Iraq, covering many ancient Mesopotamian sites (including Babylon). The itinerary will cover this route: Baghdad – Babylon – Njaf – Karbala – Nasiriyah (Ziggurat of Ur) – Marshland at Chibayesh – Basra – Samarra – Hatra – Mosul – Erbil I'm especially excited about seeing Babylon, the Ziggurat of Ur, and going on a boatride through the UNESCO marshlands. About me: I'm Taiwanese and grew up in Taiwan, Denmark, and the U.S. Being mobile in my childhood made me want to keep traveling for my adult life. I love birdwatching, history, writing fiction, and climbing on things. Last year I found some travel buddies on Reddit. We did a ten-day horse trekking tour in Western Mongolia and had a really great time!
