I plan a winter expedition through the Afghan Wakhan Corridor, an incredibly remote place where Kyrgyz nomads still roam the Pamir mountains, where you can trek along yak caravans, a mystical place even Marco Polo passed on his expeditions. I'll do it very low budget, hiring only a donkey to carry food and other supplies and sleeping in yurts.
