My trip in essence : I recently got a jungle at Melappalm, kodaikanal (8HV2+3PW ) ever since ive not really explored it & have been really hoping to visit and check what all it has to offer and take notes to understand how it can be made into a more robust jungle , this winter has been really cold there making it unhikeable cause it gets so foggy ( yes fog - not smog or mist ) that one wouldnt be able to see another even if they are only 2 steps away, so there were risks of elephants and tigers which would not be the case now given that the temperature from feb raises till the may. will be putting up some camping sites, wind mills for power and 4g cctv cameras there for monitoring activities of human intrusions if anyatall. there are 3 waterbodies that are perinial all 3 with potable water that will not give one a cold or a soar throat ( surpisingly clean , touchwood :P ) , its essentially an exploration camp. PS it will be pitch dark in the night if we dont light camp fire, darkness that one cant even imagine as there is no light pollution or well pollution of any kind atall, so dont even think of it if you are afraid of the dark. else its a great chilled trip. PS - ALL KINDS OF PLASTIC AND ONE TIME MATERIALS ARE BANNED HERE.
