Hey! I’m flying in from Regina to catch Iron Maiden and Megadeth in Toronto on Aug 29th (show’s on Sunday evening, Aug 30th). I’ve been to Toronto plenty of times, so this trip I want to switch it up a bit.
I’m thinking of heading to Elora Gorge on Saturday, Aug 29th — it’s just about 1.5–2 hours from Toronto and looks unreal. Tubing down the Grand River, hiking along the limestone cliffs, and just soaking in that late-summer nature energy sounds like the perfect way to spend the day.
We can also plan something fun in Toronto during the daytime on the 30th and 31st — explore a cool neighbourhood, grab brunch, check out a market, or just wander and see where the vibe takes us. If you’re into the bands, you’re welcome to join me at the show. If not, totally fine — you can enjoy your Sunday evening your way while I’m at the concert.
I’ve already booked my own Airbnb in the city, so we can meet somewhere in Toronto and head out to Elora together. If you’re flying in the same day, we can even meet at the airport and drive straight from there.
Overall vibe: good music, good conversation, and a mix of city energy and peaceful nature escape.
