Trip Details
This is a compressed 4-day road trip covering Khagrachari, Kaptai, Bandarban and Cox’s Bazar, starting and ending in Chittagong. I’ve kept Kaptai in the itinerary.
4-day tour plan
Day 1 — Chittagong to Khagrachari
Early morning departure from Chittagong.
Visit Alutila Cave and scenic viewpoints.
Explore the Shiduk Chori area, if accessible.
Enjoy the hills and local markets.
Day 2 — Khagrachari to Kaptai to Bandarban
Early breakfast and departure.
Travel towards Kaptai.
Enjoy Kaptai Lake and a short boat trip if time permits.
Continue to Bandarban and stay overnight.
Day 3 — Bandarban Mountain Adventure
Start early for Nilgiri, subject to access permission.
Enjoy mountain viewpoints and scenic roads.
Visit Dim Pahar only if the route and permissions allow.
Depart for Cox’s Bazar; arrive in the evening if road conditions permit.
Day 4 — Cox’s Bazar to Chittagong
Enjoy the beach in the morning.
Have breakfast and explore the beach area.
Depart for Chittagong.
End of the tour.
