Hi everyone, 

i am an artist going to visit my youngest son who is working in Cairo. New Cairo is where i will be staying. I would love to meet locals who are interested in art or artists even. 

I woud love to exchange some ideas with you. I think of visiting the museum of Modern art, or the textile museum and maybe go for a swim or have a coffee and a chat together. maybe a hairdresser or a manicure, or go shopping for appropriate clothing for the temperatures over there. 

If someone would like to help me find my way in the old city that would be great. I speak fluent English and haven't been out of Europe for a while. I also heard there are wall paintings in the city. So if anybody would like to meet up, ill be in town from 8-14 october 2013. I will be glad to meet you.

I need to figure out how uber works as well.
