Is anyone else planning a long-term trip to Southeast Asia? I just booked my ticket to Thailand, arriving November 5th. Would love to find a friend(s) planning to visit SE ASIA around the same time (November- Aug) or even talk with someone who has recently done a similar trip. I am 34 from East Coast United States. This will be my first long-term solo trip. I'm excited but nervous at the same time. I do not have a set itinerary, but I'll be starting my 6-month trip in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 5th. Plan to also visit Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia. Or, if you have done a similar trip in the past, please give me any advice or suggestions you can think of. 

First month or so plans: 》Bangkok 》Ayutthaya 》Kanchanaburi/ Erawan National Park 》Lampang 》Chiang Mai * Nov 27, 28, 29 is Loi Krathong / Yee Ping festival period 》Pai > Chiang Khong > Huay Xai, Laos (slow boat to Luang Prabang)
