🇮🇱 7-Day Adventure Through Israel — August 2027

Looking for a travel buddy (or a small group) for an unforgettable 7-day trip through Israel in August 2027.

I’m planning a fast-paced trip focused on history, culture, archaeology, incredible scenery, great food, and actually exploring rather than sitting around a hotel.

Tentative route/interests:

📍 Jerusalem — Old City, Western Wall, Temple Mount area, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, Mount of Olives, City of David, tunnels and archaeological sites
📍 Masada — ideally sunrise hike
📍 Dead Sea — swim/float and explore the surrounding desert
📍 Ein Gedi / Judean Desert — hiking and scenery
📍 Galilee — Sea of Galilee, Capernaum, historical and biblical sites
📍 Nazareth and northern Israel if time allows
📍 Tel Aviv / Jaffa — food, nightlife, beach and the old port city
🏺 As many archaeological, biblical, military and historical sites as we can reasonably fit in

I’m especially interested in ancient history, biblical history, military history, archaeology, unusual places, hiking, photography, and getting off the standard tourist route.

The plan would be to rent a car for at least part of the trip and cover a lot of ground. I like early starts, spontaneous stops, local restaurants, historical sites and discovering places we didn’t necessarily know about before arriving.

I’m coming from North Carolina, USA. I’m easygoing when traveling, but I definitely prefer an adventure/exploration trip over a slow vacation.

Exact dates and itinerary are flexible at this point, so this is a great time to coordinate.
